Objective:
The Ordinary has teamed up with MSCHF to sell actual cartons of eggs, priced US$3.37—from its retail store in New York City. Framed as “no frills, just eggs,”. This ‘sale’ was active on March 23-25 only at it’s NYC location, two cartons per customer.


Why it works:

  1. Pounce on a real-world need and give people something unexpected

  2. Even if it’s not a product/service in your normal niche, find a branding opportunity and collaborate

  3. Service is everything; this collab is helpful, memorable, unique, and most importantly, needed
