IKEA trolls Balenciaga
I’m convinced Balencia is trolling everyone. They’re now selling a roll of branded packing tape from their Fall/Winter 2024-25 fashion line for the whopping price of $4,400. Yes, it’s scotch-tape but make it fashion, honey!
Ridiculous or genius? I’m not sure, but I’m positive someone bought and wore it proudly.
IKEA responds to Balenciaga’s $925 towel skirt. IKEA isn’t having this new Balenciaga ludicrous $925 towel skirt nonsense. The homewares company created a shoot of their own in response to the reach to sell little-for-more by the fashion label. Their shoot features a model dressed in IKEA’s VINARN bath towel, priced at $10 USD.
